MyAnna Buring, Alice
MyAnna graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) in 2004. Since then she has appeared in several high profile British TV series including MURDER PREVENTION, CASUALTY and DR. WHO. She played the character of ‘Sam van Ney’ in Neil Marshall’s critically acclaimed film, THE DESCENT which hit number one at the US box office last year.

In 2005, Buring won the award for ‘Best Actress in a Political Drama’ at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for her portrayal of a West Virginian soldier in Peter Morris’ award winning play, GUARDIANS. The piece was commissioned by Mahwaff Theatre Company, of which Buring is the Associate Director.

MahWaff’s second show ANGRY YOUNG MAN, written by Ben Woolf, also played at Edinburgh and later that year took the Adelaide Festival by storm winning the award for Best Play.
