CLAYTON WATSON, Jock
Clay grew up on a sheep station in the South Australian bush and began acting when he was 12 years old. In 1995, at the age of 18, he graduated from the Australian Film & TV Academy and his professional career began with roles in FLIPPER, PACIFIC DRIVE, BLUE HEELERS, EUGENIE SANDLER, P.I. and DAY OF THE ROSES, matching it on stage with WEST SIDE STORY, CHINESE WHISPERS, SHOWBOAT, and SWAN LAKE.

Film roles also came with cameos in CASINO REEF, GARGANTUA, FEELING SEXY and then the lead role in NICK A TEEN ROMANCE. His first lead role in television came in 2000, playing a circus performer in HIGH FLYERS, and he was later cast in the role of army-brat Mickey Steele in Australia’s top rated show ALWAYS GREENER. This portrayal earned him an Australian Film Institute Award for best supporting actor in 2002.

Watson moved back to film with MATRIX RELOADED and MATRIX REVOLUTIONS playing the enigmatic Kid for the Wachowski brothers. Other recent films include UNDER THE RADAR, IN THE MIDDLE, BONNIE AND CLYDO and FASHION THE MOVIE.
